R - Detox - When horses work hard in training
and competitions, they produce a lot of waste.
The purpose of this supplement is to support
the liver and kidneys and thus assist the
breakdown of waste in the body. That is why
this mixture includes natural grapeseed extract
which is known to be a very powerful natural
antioxidant. It also contains several plant
extracts. For example, milk thistle (Silybum
marianum) to detox the liver, stimulate bile
production and assist the removal of bile from
the liver. Other plant extracts include ginger
(Zingiber officinale), dandelion (Taraxacum
officinale), nettle (Urtica dioica), and
rosemary(Rosmarinus officinalis). The
supplement would not be complete without choline chloride, sorbitol, and methionine. Choline chloride prevents fatty liver disease, sorbitol serves as an emulsifier, and methionine prevents liver damage. A unique ingredient in this supplement is beetroot. Beetroot is rich in betaine, which stimulates the functioning of the liver cells and protects the liver and bile ducts. Betaine is also added as an extra in its pure form. This supplement contains the B vitamins in the correct proportions. Last, but not least, prebiotic fiber was added.
